TROEGS " HOPBACK AMBER ALE
Troegs brewery's flagship beer, HopBack Amber Ale derives its
name from the vessel in the brewhouse called a hopback. As the
"wort" is being transferred from the brewhouse to fermentation
it passes through the hiopback vessel. Packed full of
whole flower hops, the wort slowly circulates through the
vessel extracting the essence of the aromatic hops. This
vessel adds more time and more hop character that creates a
fresh, spicy taste and rich caramel note that defines this
signature ale.

The 6th Annual ‘Taste of
Hingham
was held on Saturday June 6th , It was a great afternoon to
enjoy the wonderful weather and samplings from over 25 local
eateries. The Snug served its "Award Winning Steak Tips" and
provide live entertainment with Hogans Goat Irish Trio. Thank
you to everyone who Voted us #1 Six years running !! "Taste of
the Town" Award.
The Snug
has been awarded "Best Irish Pub
"south of Boston " South Shore Living Magazine". Everyone
is looking forward to another year of great food,
entertainment and always a Great Pint! The entire Snug staff
would like to thank all of our old and new customers for their
